The Details: Hidden down the romantic, cobbled alleyway of Godstall Lane, this is a spectacular, cozy little gem of an independent bar. Candlelit and decorated with musical instruments and jazz art, it completely transports you away from the busy city streets. The owner is wonderfully welcoming, and the bar focuses entirely on creating a relaxed atmosphere with smooth jazz (often on vinyl), great malt whiskies, curated wines, and craft beer. It is delightfully dog-friendly and entirely gimmick-free.
